Starting Over and acknowledging the Native Americans

Hello readers and thanks for coming by.

 I have not posted in a while due to several reason’’s.

I feel it is time maybe again.So much crap going on all around us now.If you just look at the negative the world as we know it is not a very nice place to be right now i am afraid.I even hate to watch news anymore,even though i do only because i like to learn new things and learn of past experiances that i never knew of.The history channels are awesome to me.Over the years i have so missed them without satellite,but now i have them again thank God.This morning i watched a show entitled”Rabbit Fences”..

 It is a story based on the life of several young girls and their aborijanee  tribe in the early years of our century up until the

 70’s.It remeinded me somewhat of the pain of the native american’s here in the states and what was done to them.My heritage includes whites and Native Americans.My fathers motherwas Cherokee .She grew up right in the same area as my white grandparents and remained here.So i guess you can say i would have  been here in this spot whether white men came or not.I feel blessed for that.I wish my Grandma had shared more about my Indian heritage but that was just too painful for her.So most of that lineage went with her when she went to see Jesus at age 95, 15 years ago.

 I hear and see so much talk on people being prejudise and how rights were taken away years ago,but i never hear about the people WE all took rights away from to even be able to be in the United States,the origional owners of this nation,AMERICAN INDIANS…

 We came over here,called them the savages,trying to wipe out their rights,land,tribes,food,families,religion,language,homes,spirits, and their lives!!!!!!They were rounded up like animals and made to walk thousands of miles to a desolate place none of us would have wanted to go too because of a stupid treaty and a lot of greedy people,black and white.We all assisted in this.This generation in peticular did not,neither do we need or have slaves,but we still are reminded daily of this.What about the plights of other people.Do they not need recognition of what happened to them so it never happens again?Or maybe that is not important enough,And do not write me about the ”land they were given”….PLEASE….have you been to a reservation?Have you talked to any of them.The elders and found out their stories?We ”gave” THEM land that they already owned,,,Just the parts that kept them AWAY from others and told them they had to stay there to be able to get ”ASSISTANCE!”’

 a LO T of people of all colors have been hurt and abused.Lots of people and families have been totally wiped out down the years at the hand’s of others.I just think when we are reminded and taught of this we should remember them all.Not just one or two examples.And don’t think i am bias at all.I am not.My daughters heritage is also black lineage several generaions back..I guess you could say i have a grab bag of ancestors..I just think all need acknowledge.My son married a native american girl whom i am so blessed to have and given me one of my  granddaughter’s. She has a right to have the plight of her ancestors taught as well and respected for the price they paid here..just like all else.They were a strong spirited people.They still are.Just because they don’t demand anything does now mean it ahould not be heard…IT IS ONLY RIGHT….In the next few months i will be doing some native american stories and struggles.i hope  you join me for this.thanks for stopping by ,and i welcome any and all comments.

May God watch over us all with his divine mercy and love and forgive us of our stupidy…

In Jesus name….

Screaming- for the 4,000,000 silent screams of aborted babies

Abortion, your tax-funded growth industry

 written by and thanks to::: Pat Boone

Like millions and millions of other Americans, I’ve become very interested in the stock market. With the advent of IRAs and 401 retirement plans, the possibility of self-managed Social Security accounts, the amazing stories of dot-com billionaires, the staggering wealth of hedge fund managers, the plethora of financial newsletters promising practically overnight bonanzas from investing in penny stocks and “under the radar” companies – millions of us are drawn like moths to the flame by the allure of dramatic profits.

Today, it’s not just Forbes and Barron’s and Bloomberg, but Time and Newsweek, and even People and other entertainment magazines, that focus on entrepreneurs and businesses that swim against the economic tide to tremendous growth and profitability.

Well, I’ve just learned more about a business that rivals Berkshire Hathaway and its resident genius Warren Buffett (who approves of this newer “industry”) – in both steady growth and enormous profits.

Killing babies.

Yes, I’m talking about that gigantic growth corporation, Planned Parenthood. There has likely never been a more misleading name for any major business, of course, because this smooth running industry does anything but “plan parenthood.” It quite openly and proudly makes sure, for a great majority of its pregnant clients, that they won’t birth their babies at all, and there will be no “parenthood” to plan.

According to Care Net, a leading pro-life counseling and nurturing provider across America, Planned Parenthood’s “services” result in abortions outnumbering adoption referrals and kept children by 180 to 1!

Surprised? You shouldn’t be – this is a business, a money machine. There is no profit in convincing young girls to keep the children they’ve created or give them up for adoption by eager parents that will love and nurture them. Though occasionally that is the outcome, and the staff and administrators of the slaughterhouses love to publicize those few incidents, the recently revealed numbers tell the true story: Their annual income now exceeds a billion dollars, including $336 million in taxpayer funding!

By contrast – alarming contrast – Care Net operates 1,100 centers throughout the country, receiving on their “Option Line” roughly 20,000 calls each month. And nine out of 10 women and girls who visit one of their pregnancy centers choose life for their children.

And not surprisingly, because there is no profit to anybody but the babies who are allowed to live, Care Net urgently solicits voluntary funding, so they can go on changing hearts and saving lives. Obviously, our government doesn’t find this effort worthy of massive taxpayer funding … though snuffing out the lives of unborn Americans is.

To me, this is obscene. It’s nightmarish. It’s a terrifying example of how our society is descending into a Dante’s Inferno of depraved behavior, all the while believing itself to be humane and caring and concerned for women – although over half of the babies sacrificed on the altar of convenience are female.

Since the catastrophic 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, over 40 million babies have paid the ultimate price for their mothers’ “choices”; and that means at least 20 million women never became women. So much for concern for women.

It’s no surprise, then, that Planned Parenthood’s absolute disregard for the life of the baby in the womb continues to foster more callous, inhuman, and illegal behavior.

Care Net reports that Planned Parenthood’s locations in Ohio, Idaho, Oklahoma and New Mexico specifically promised to designate donations for the aborting of black children at the request of a donor.

And how about this for “planning parenthood”? Teenwire, their website for teenagers, urged juveniles to watch pornography – even though that’s illegal. Their explanation? “Not everyone follows the rules.”

And a Planned Parenthood clinic worker was caught on camera urging a woman she believed was a minor to lie about her age. Why? That way, statutory rape, a criminal offense, could be hidden from the authorities. And abortion could erase the evidence of the other crime. Sadly, many abusers rely on abortion to cover up sexual abuse. So young girls – and their babies – suffer while “Planned Parenthood” rakes in huge bucks.

If you have any doubt about what I’m saying, think for just a second: If, as they claim, the executives of Planned Parenthood really had an ounce of concern for the unborn – wouldn’t they welcome help from any quarter? Wouldn’t they be thrilled that organizations like Care Net, Right to Life and other pro-life groups were taking a lot of the load of counseling pregnant girls and women, encouraging them to let their children live, and providing teaching and support for those who want to actually raise the babies they’ve created?

Well, friend, that’s not the case. The kind folks at Planned Parenthood want all the pro-lifers to go away. If they could legislate them out of existence, they would. The organization summons law enforcement to deal with protesters – and the ACLU sues pro-lifers anywhere near the abortion clinics – because it’s bad for business! When you’re raking in over a cool billion a year, and even soaking taxpayers (who hate what you’re doing) for $336 million, you don’t want anybody reminding you that your blood money profits come from decimating innocent little babies – 289,750 innocent little babies in the latest year – 25,000 more than the year before.

And here’s another thought to consider: Among the 40 million American babies killed since 1973, how many distinguished scientists, geniuses, great artists, literary giants, or even future presidents were erased from America’s history? How many solutions, cures and contributions to all humanity were heartlessly obliterated?

Listen, there’s only one way – for now – to combat this diabolical growing cancer that is literally devouring little babies by the millions. The Bible admonishes, “Be not overcome with evil; overcome evil with good.”

Care Net is doing that. Their advertising is so effective – on billboards, TV, radio, MTV, aimed at young women struggling with unplanned pregnancies – that their “Option Line” receives roughly 20,000 calls each month, costing about $3 for each woman they reach, and somewhat more than that for each baby they rescue from brutal death.

I urge every reader to go to care-net.org to see what you can do to confront the giant abortion conglomerate – and drive them toward a financial bankruptcy to match their moral one. Right now, Care Net needs $150,000 by June 30. Since our tax dollars have already contributed to Planned Parenthood, shouldn’t we try to even the field just a little?

Apartment managers evicted, fired for being ‘too religious’

For eight years Daniel and Sharon Dixon, apartment managers in Lake City, Fla., displayed in the apartment complex’s management office a stained glass depiction of flowers with the words “Consider the lilies … Matthew 6:28″ written in the lower left corner – an act for which they were suddenly fired from their management jobs and evicted from their apartment.

Mathew D. Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing religious freedom that is representing the Dixons, told WND that neither before nor after the incident were the Dixons charged with any wrongdoing other than protesting the removal of the artwork and loss of their jobs.

“They were suddenly terminated as a result of the religious bigotry of one supervisor,” Staver said in a press release. “The Dixons lost their jobs and were booted out on the street, solely because artwork in their office made reference to the Bible.”

Judge blasts state ban on distributing Bibles to students
Law unconstitutional because it ‘encourages arbitrary enforcement’

A federal court has declared a Florida law banning representatives of the Gideons from handing out Bibles within 500 feet of any school in the state unconstitutional because it is vague and actually “encourages arbitrary enforcement.”

The ruling in a case brought by the Alliance Defense Fund comes from U.S. District Court Judge K. Michael Moore and addresses an incident that developed Jan. 19, 2007, at Key Largo School, run by Principal Annette Martinson.

The law actually prohibits anyone without “legitimate business” from being within 500 feet of schools in the state and specifies “each principal or designee of each public or private school in this state shall notify the appropriate law enforcement agency to prohibit any person from loitering in the school safety zone who does not have legitimate business in the school safety zone or any other authorization, or license to enter or remain in the school safety zone or does not otherwise have invitee status in the designated safety zone.”

The issue arose because of team of Gideons, known for paying all of their own expenses out of pocket while raising all of their own funds and giving away Bibles, had been distributing the Scriptures at Key Largo School.

~~~~OFFERED SUICIDE DRUGS BUT NO HEALTHCARE TO LIVE IN OREGON!!!!
MATTERS OF LIFE AND DEATH
State denies cancer treatment, offers suicide instead
‘To say, we’ll pay for you to die, but not pay for you to live, it’s cruel’
State officials have offered a lung cancer patient the option of having the Oregon Health Plan, set up in 1994 to ration health care, pay for an assisted suicide but not for the chemotherapy prescribed by her physician.
The story appears to be a happy ending for Barbara Wagner, who has been notified by a drug manufacturer that it will provide the expensive medication, estimated to cost $4,000 a month, for the first year and then allow her to apply for further treatment, according to a report in the Eugene Register-Guard.
But the word from the state was coverage for palliative care, which would include the state’s assisted suicide program, would be allowed but not coverage for the cancer treatment drugs.
“To say to someone, we’ll pay for you to die, but not pay for you to live, it’s cruel,” Wagner told the newspaper. “I get angry. Who do they think they are?”
Obama Supports Freedom of Choice Act -tHIS IS MURDER-SCREAM FOR THE BABIES
Hello readers….
As most know i am voting for McCain..with that out of the way ,here is just another reason why i could never vote for Obama to be my families president!
And before you go on a kick how it should be a womans choice,you better remember it was a womans choice to say no or you would not be here reading this nor i writing this.I am sorry people,this is nothing less than murder…MURDER……….even in the system a law was passed where the woman must be informed that the fetus at 2o weeks feels pain and pulls away from the needles,projectiles,etc(that are coming to tear it apart limb by limb) and let her know that pain medication for the baby is available if SHE would like to give the baby some before(it is brutally tore apart or injected with saline solution that will burn it from the inside out!!!!!!YES THIS IS ALL TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and we as a people say this ok????????? If we as americans vote him in,i dont care whether you are republican or democrat,while he publically stands and says this ,then we are daming our nation….our families and our future as a free world…
You may not like my opinion…you may not like what i said..but it is true…We can not continue to have the blood of these innocent children running in our soil and not pay a price…the ultimate price.God will drop wrath,,,it is not far in the coming either..it is at our door’s.These babies are a gift from god above and look what we have done to over 4,000,000 of them in the USA alone, Are we totally so stupid that we are above seeing this.Are you so blind you can not see that these babies are still our children? When a ‘’sick” mother kills her kids we are shake our heads in disgust(humans should anyway!) but we turn our backs and voices to over 4,000,000 innosent little one’s that never got a chance to see mom ,her/his brothers and sisters,grandparents,aunts ,uncles,cousins and friends?…Never got a chance to go swimming,or watch a cloud pass overhead.The chance to go to a carnival or a park?Never got to hear i love you????WOMEN WAKE UP……The system has lied to you…these are babies…they deserve to be loved(if not by you then someone who will),nurtured,,,held and laugh.You had a choice when you agreed to have sex(unless you were raped,,i am sorry ,but that baby did not do it to you..)Women you had your choice…you made it and now your pregnant…All you are doing AFTER  is playing God …you have no right to say if that baby lives or dies…..it is not your choice………
That baby did not ask you to have sex!!!!!!!! SO WHY KILL IT FOR YOUR MISTAKE ??????????????????????? The aborted baby will pay the price now,but my friend…IT IS YOU WHO WILL PAY LATER…LIKE IT OR NOT………
The only way around that is for God toforgive you for your sin,ask jesus to be your savior and one day you will be reunited with the baby you aborted..Thats how God is …He is quick to forgive ,but he can also be angered…AND THE USA WILL  PAY ONE DAY FOR ALL THIS BLOODSHED OF BABIES IF IT IS NOT STOPPED////
The only way it will is through prayer,educating women and men on the honesty of what abortion truely is …it is murder of a child….
I pray you take this to heart..i pray you tell other people…I will be a voice for the silent screams of the babies still inside their moms….i will be a voice for aborted babies…AND I WILL BE A VOICE FOR SEPTEMBER…MY GRANDSON WHO WAS KILLED THROUGH ABORTION SEPTEMBER 2006.
I WILL SCREAM FOR THEM AS LONG AS I CAN………………………..
Obama Supports Freedom of Choice Act
By Penny Starr
CNSNews.com Senior Staff Writer
June 12, 2008
(CNSNews.com) – Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) supports the Democrats’ Freedom of Choice Act, putting him in line with the American Civil Liberties Union on abortion and in conflict with pro-life groups.
Following a July 17, 2007 speech to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Obama was asked what he would do at the federal level, not only to ensure access to abortion but to make sure that the judicial nominees he might pick “are true to the core tenets of Roe v. Wade?”
“Well, the first thing I’d do as president is, is sign the Freedom of Choice Act,” Obama said. “That’s the first thing I’d do.” (See video)
Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) introduced the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) on April 19, 2007 — one day after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the Partial Birth Abortion Act of 2003 in Gonzales v. Carhart .
Nadler reintroduced FOCA in the House this session, but the bill has not made its way out of committee to the House floor for debate.
The American Center for Law and Justice said on its website that “(FOCA) would invalidate many federal, state and local abortion laws, including the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act.”
“The Freedom of Choice Act would create an absolute right to abortion that would override any federal, state or local law that simply ‘interfered with’ that right, no matter how compelling the justification for the law,” said the ACLJ.
The American Civil Liberties Union urges support for FOCA, stating on its Web site that the U.S. Supreme Court “walked away from legal precedent” when it upheld the ban on partial-birth abortions. “The decision undermines a core principle of Roe , that women’s health must remain paramount, and instead allows politics and ideology to override legal precedent and medical expertise,” said the ACLU.
But Denise M. Burke, vice president and legal director for American United for Life, sees FOCA as a real danger to women and the unborn.
“FOCA creates a new and dangerously radical ‘right,’ Burke wrote in a commentary about the legislation. “It establishes the right to abortion as a ‘fundamental right,’ elevating it to the same status as the right to vote and the right to free speech, which unlike the abortion license, are specifically mentioned in the U.S. Constitution.”
“Critically, the U.S. Supreme Court has never (in Roe v. Wade or any subsequent decision) defined abortion as a fundamental constitutional right,” Burke said. “FOCA goes beyond any U.S. Supreme Court decision in enshrining unlimited abortion-on-demand into American law.”
Gore’s Mansion-no green saver here!–The Dow and the S&P 500
NEW YORK (Reuters) – The Dow and the S&P 500 indexes were little changed on Thursday as a drop in oil prices fueled investor optimism about consumer spending and offset a warning of further write-downs from Citigroup (C.N).
U.S. oil prices fell more than $4 to $132.45 a barrel on the prospect of lower demand from China. That eased fears about the toll of higher fuel costs on American consumers and businesses.
Shares of big manufacturers, including Boeing Co (BA.N), rose on the back of the lower oil prices. Shares of retailers also benefited, with Home Depot (HD.N) stock more than 1 percent.
Technology shares were another standout, lifting Nasdaq stocks.
“The good news is it looks like oil is down, some of the retailers are holding up,” said Todd Clark, managing director of stock trading at Nollenberger Capital Partners in San Francisco. “(But) until financials can stabilize, it’s tough to be overly positive about the market.”
The Dow Jones industrial average (.DJI) rose 36.23 points, or 0.30 percent, to 12,065.29. The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index (.SPX) gained 2.80 points, or 0.21 percent, to 1,340.61. The Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC) climbed 23.71 points, or 0.98 percent, to 2,453.42.
Boeing shares rose 2.3 percent to $76.39 on the New York Stock Exchange. Among retailers, home improvement chain Home Depot shares gained 1.2 percent to $26.87. The S&P retail index (.RLX) rose nearly 1 percent.
On Nasdaq, shares of iPod and iPhone maker Apple Inc (AAPL.O) were a top boost, rising 1.3 percent to $181.14.
But Citigroup shares, down 3.3 percent at $19.73, were among the top drags on the S&P 500. Also weighing on the index were shares of JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N), down more than 3 percent at $37.48, and Bank of America (BAC.N), whose stock fell more than 4 percent to $27.13.
Citigroup Chief Financial Officer Gary Crittenden told investors on a Deutsche Bank Securities investor conference call that the largest U.S. bank could have substantial write-downs in the second quarter, triggering a drop in Citigroup shares of nearly 4 percent.
U.S. oil prices fell amid the prospect of lower oil demand from China, which raised gasoline and diesel fuel prices for the first time in eight months.
Gore’s Mansion Uses More Energy After ‘Going Green’
By Randy Hall
CNSNews.com Staff Writer/Editor
June 19, 2008
(CNSNews.com) – In the year since Al Gore took steps to make his home more energy efficient, the power use at the former vice president’s house has increased more than 10 percent, a nonprofit research group reported Tuesday.
“A man’s commitment to his beliefs is best measured by what he does behind the closed doors of his own home,” said Drew Johnson, president of the Tennessee Center for Policy Research, in a news release. “Al Gore is a hypocrite and a fraud when it comes to his commitment to the environment, judging by his home energy consumption.”
Using data obtained through a public records request to the Nashville Electric Service, the Center determined that during the past year, Gore’s mansion in the Belle Meade area of Nashville used 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month.
As Cybercast News Service previously reported, the Center revealed in February 2007 that the former vice president’s home “consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year.”
A few days later, President Bush’s “Western White House” in Crawford, Texas, was praised as an “eco-friendly haven” by the conservative Competitive Enterprise Institute.
Gore promised to make his mansion — an 80-year old house that received a gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council — more efficient by adding solar panels, installing a geothermal system, replacing existing light bulbs with more efficient models and overhauling the home’s windows and ductwork.
Since taking those steps, the former vice president uses an average of 17,768 kWh per month — 1,638 kWh more energy per month than before the renovations — at a cost of $16,533, Johnson noted.
By comparison, the average American household consumes 11,040 kWh in an entire year, according to the Energy Information Administration.
While a spokesman for an investment firm co-founded by the former vice president told Cybercast News Service that Gore has not been profiting from his crusade against global warming, Johnson strongly disagreed.
“In the wake of becoming the most well-known global warming alarmist, Gore won an Oscar, a Grammy and the Nobel Peace Prize,” he said. “In addition, Gore saw his personal wealth increase by an estimated $100 million thanks largely to speaking fees and investments related to global warming hysteria.
“Actions speak louder than words, and Gore’s actions prove that he views climate change not as a serious problem, but as a money-making opportunity,” Johnson added. “Gore is exploiting the public’s concern about the environment to line his pockets and enhance his profile.”
However, Gore spokesperson Kalee Kreider disputed the Center’s claims.
The utility bills for the former vice president’s mansion have gone down 40 percent since the makeover, Kreider told The Tennessean. The drop was largely due to the home’s new geothermal heating and cooling system, which relies on the stable temperatures of the earth or groundwater beneath a building to power its heating and cooling systems.
As for the increase in the electric bills, Kreider said that the three-year renovation on the structure wasn’t completed until November, so it’s a bit early to attempt a before-and-after comparison.
In addition, the Gores take part in the Nashville Electric Service’s Green Power Switch program, which allows them to buy their electricity from renewable sources like wind power, solar energy or methane gas.
“When they do use power, it’s green power,” Kreider added, noting that 33 solar panels also supply about 4 percent of the household’s power needs.
While Johnson told Cybercast News Service that the Center stands behind its data, the Gore home is also the target of another group critical of the former vice president’s stance on global warming.
As part of its cross-country “Hot-Air Tour,” Americans for Prosperity (AFP) hopes to fly its hot-air balloon over the former vice president’s mansion on Friday in an attempt to “remind him of all the hot air in the global warming debate,” AFP President Tim Phillips said on the group’s Web site.
“Alarmists who are pushing economically devastating climate change policies are out of touch with average Americans,” Phillips stated. “We think American families need to know what these proposals will cost them — lost jobs, even higher energy prices and less freedom.”
